1. Introduction

Welcome to FreePickup.com. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

FreePickup.com is an online business directory designed to connect consumers and businesses with participating service providers in cities throughout the United States.

Our goal is to simplify the process of identifying reputable service providers through publicly available customer reviews, service information, and pickup capabilities.

2. Directory Services

FreePickup.com currently features seven service categories:

FreePickup.com reserves the right to add, modify, combine, suspend, or remove service categories, individual listings, or geographic markets at any time.

The availability of each service depends on participating providers operating within a particular city or service area.

Not every category or provider is available in every location.

3. Independent Service Providers

FreePickup.com is a directory and referral platform. We do not directly perform moving, shipping, storage, consignment, donation, junk removal, or dry-cleaning services.

All listed businesses operate independently and are responsible for their own services, pricing, scheduling, employees, subcontractors, licensing, insurance, and customer agreements.

FreePickup.com is not a party to transactions or service agreements between consumers and participating providers unless expressly stated otherwise.

Consumers are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the individual provider's terms before purchasing or scheduling services.

4. Pickup Availability and Pricing

The name FreePickup.com does not mean that all listed providers offer complimentary pickup.

Pickup availability varies by provider, geographic area, service category, date, and specific service requirements.

Pickup may be:

Consumers must confirm pickup availability, applicable charges, and all service details directly with the provider before scheduling.

5. Provider Selection, Ratings, and Rankings

FreePickup.com is designed to help consumers identify service providers based on two primary considerations:

Customer Ratings and Reviews: Publicly available ratings and reviews from third-party review platforms, including Google, Yelp, and other identified review sources where applicable.

Pickup Capabilities: Whether a participating provider advertises or offers pickup services within its designated service area, including complimentary, discounted, included, or fee-based pickup.

Our directory is guided by three principles:

  1. Customer Satisfaction: Customer feedback and publicly available ratings and reviews.
  2. Professional Accountability: Information concerning the provider's services, professionalism, and responsiveness, where available.
  3. Quality Control: Available information regarding service quality and the provider's pickup capabilities.

When third-party ratings or reviews are displayed, FreePickup.com will identify the applicable review source.

Ratings may change over time, and information may not always reflect the most recent customer experiences.

FreePickup.com does not independently verify every customer review, conduct inspections of every provider, or guarantee that a listed provider will meet any particular standard of service.

Rankings may be updated as available ratings, services, or pickup capabilities change.

6. Paid Directory Listings

FreePickup.com operates as a paid business directory.

Participating service providers pay a recurring monthly fee to be listed on the website.

Payment allows eligible businesses to participate in the directory but does not guarantee any particular ranking, customer inquiries, bookings, or business results.

Directory rankings reflect participating providers and should not be interpreted as a comprehensive evaluation of every business operating within a particular city or service category.

Any separately purchased sponsored or preferential placement, if offered, will be appropriately disclosed.

7. Geographic Availability and Nationwide Expansion

FreePickup.com is being developed as a National Search Directory through a phased geographic rollout.

Our initial expansion is focused on the Southeastern United States, with additional cities, states, and regions to be introduced over time.

Nationwide implementation will take time, and the number of participating providers will vary by market.

References to nationwide service, national search, or providers in your area do not guarantee that every city, state, or service category is currently represented.

FreePickup.com may add or discontinue geographic markets based on provider participation, business conditions, and operational considerations.

8. Accuracy of Information

FreePickup.com makes reasonable efforts to provide useful directory information. However, business information, ratings, pricing, service descriptions, operating hours, pickup availability, and geographic coverage may change without notice.

Information may be supplied by independent providers or obtained from publicly available sources.

FreePickup.com does not warrant that all directory information is complete, accurate, or current.

Consumers should independently verify all relevant information directly with the provider.

9. Consumer Responsibilities

Users are responsible for evaluating providers before entering into service agreements.

Consumers should confirm pricing, service scope, scheduling, cancellation terms, insurance, licensing where applicable, and responsibility for lost or damaged property.

For donation services, consumers should independently confirm whether a receiving organization qualifies for charitable tax deductions and whether appropriate documentation is available.

FreePickup.com is not responsible for disagreements involving pricing, refunds, cancellations, missed appointments, damaged or lost belongings, or dissatisfaction with services provided by independent businesses.
